APP LAUNCHER INitiative

The Problem: The existing application icons for both internal and external groups did not have a consistency, nor brand to represent applications. Additionally many of them continually used the UPS sheild and would be challenging to find internally if found the name and did not define each app visually based on context.

My Role: As Sr. UX UI Designer I worked directly with our UX Enterprise team to develop a new application template for the various internal and play store environments that displayed a modern look and feel along for application launchers however also defined the context of the applications so that each application had branding features that met the context of the application.

Using the UPS style guide and context of the application we are currently in progress of creating a template for all App Store icons.

Using customer facing style guide using our template we will be selling the following to our upper management for final approval along with working with branding.

GSL: Global scan & Link

Following the same template however, this is again work in progress and not in its final stages.
